Turkey bowl plays on | Community Spirit

It's a 27-year tradition on this field at the Portland Waldorf School in Milwaukie.

That's when organizers of this "Turkey Bowl" say they first got a group together to play football before sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner.

There were two games being played this morning on this field, plus another on the AstroTurf at Milwaukie High School.

The players say playing in the rain, mud and the occasional goose dropping is the only way to go for their Thanksgiving tradition.
